Hector Freitas is Head of DACH (interim) and Strategic Business Development at the Livekindly Collective (LKC), where he is supporting the company’s transformation beyond its traditional retail focus and driving expansion across foodservice, private label, and B2B channels. He currently oversees the DACH region, which represents LKC’s largest market, and is spearheading the build-out of new commercial structures and partnerships to accelerate growth.

Hector brings over seven years of experience in the alternative protein sector. As a Partner at Blue Horizon, he co-led the firm’s Business Development & Fundraising vertical, successfully raising nearly $1 billion to build sustainable food ecosystems. During this period, he also co-founded the Livekindly Collective, which has grown into one of the world’s largest alternative protein companies.

Earlier in his career, Hector spent over 18 years in investment banking at Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, and UBS, where he most recently led the Global Commodity Business & FX Sales out of Switzerland. His international experience spans Europe, the US, and Southeast Asia. Hector holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Vienna, Austria.
