Martin Hofler is the Senior Sustainability Manager at Bord Bia, bringing over a decade of experience in developing and communicating sustainability strategies across both private and public sectors. In his current role, Martin leads the company/manufacturing segment of the Origin Green programme—Ireland’s national initiative driving sustainable progress in the food, drink, and horticulture industries.

As Senior Sustainability Manager, Martin oversees a team dedicated to helping manufacturers set and achieve measurable sustainability targets. His work involves managing strategic sustainability projects in close collaboration with Irish food and drink companies, as well as engaging with domestic and international stakeholders.

Prior to joining Bord Bia, Martin held global sustainability roles with leading organisations such as Jacobs Engineering, PepsiCo US, and Ornua Deutschland.

Martin holds a MSc in Business Sustainability from UCD Smurfit, a MSc in Environmental Science from Trinity College Dublin, and a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Scranton, USA.
