Andreas Löcher has been Head of Investment Management Hospitality at Union Investment Real Estate GmbH, Hamburg,  since July 2010. As per August 2023, he is also in charge of the retail investment strategy and coordinates their Acquisitions and Sales activities within the Hamburg-based property investment company as Head of Investment Management Operational. The widespread hotel portfolio of Union Investment containing some 46 hotel operators/brands in ten country markets currently comprises 90 real estate properties with a current market value of about 7.0 billion EUR. The retail portfolio comprises 89 retail properties in 16 country markets with retail property assets of 10.0 billion EUR.
Prior to joining Union Investment, Andreas Löcher was a Head of Hotel Acquisitions & Sales at Deka Immobilien GmbH, Frankfurt and a Vice President at Aareal Bank AG, Wiesbaden, responsible for real estate finance (hotel).
