Kate Heiny startete 2019 als Direktorin für Nachhaltigkeit bei der Zalando SE. Zusammen mit ihrem Team ist sie die treibende Kraft, die Zalandos Corporate Sustainability Strategy zum Leben erweckt und Maßnahmen ableitet, um Zalando zu einer Mode-Plattform mit netto-positiver Auswirkung auf Mensch und Erde zu entwickeln. Vor ihrer Tätigkeit bei Zalando hatte Kate führende Positionen im Bereich Nachhaltigkeit bei der Target Corp. und C&A inne. Sie unterstützt außerdem die Sustainable Apparel Coalition, für die sie sechs Jahre lang als Vorstandsmitglied tätig war.

Joined in 2019, Kate is Director Sustainability at Zalando SE. Together with her team, she is a leading figure in bringing Zalando’s Corporate Sustainability Strategy to life and in deriving actionable measures in becoming a sustainable fashion platform with a net-positive impact. Prior to her position at Zalando, Kate held leading positions for Sustainability at Target Corp. and C&A. She also supports the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, where she was a Director of the Board for six years.
