Saskia de Jongh

Saskia de Jongh is Uber’s Vice President for Delivery in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, focusing on ensuring long-term growth and profitability in some of the company’s biggest and fastest-growing markets globally. She is passionate about ensuring Uber technology and marketplace experience work to serve all the players on the platform: restaurants, merchants, delivery partners, and consumers. She was previously the Vice President for Delivery in APAC, based out of Tokyo.

Saskia joined Uber in 2019 as the head of customer operations across APAC. She introduced automated and AI-powered processes and managed large operations in the Philippines, Malaysia, India, and Japan.

Saskia’s career has spanned three continents and always centered around consumers. Prior to Uber, Saskia worked as Chief Commercial Officer at Zalora, a Singaporean e-retailer, and at Ahold, one of the world’s largest food retail groups. Saskia has a strong spirit of adventure and loves a challenge – whether building high-performing teams during periods of intense growth or driving a Land Rover across the Sahara.

She currently resides in Amsterdam with her husband and two sons and loves to travel (90 countries and counting).
