Based in London, Marcos Casarin helps corporate clients at Oxford Economics leverage economic forecasts and analyses to inform strategic business decisions. Before joining the corporate advisory team, Marcos served as chief economist and general manager for Oxford Economics in Latin America, based in Mexico City. In that role, he managed a team of economists producing research and forecasts for more than 30 countries and led multiple consultancy projects with major firms. Prior to joining Oxford Economics in 2012, he earned an MSc in Economics & Finance from the Barcelona School of Economics and worked at the Brazilian Development Bank. Marcos is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
