Lasse Andersen

Lasse Andersen is the founder, owner and CEO of Grød, “the world’s first porridge bar concept”, which he launched in 2011 after studying music in London. Building on Denmark’s long-standing porridge tradition, he reimagined the category as the New Nordic cuisine movement gained momentum. Today, Grød employs around 200 people, operates 11 locations (10x Denmark, 1x Norway), and generates roughly €50m in revenue. The concept is built around a tightly focused menu of porridge and other grain- and seed-based dishes – from sweet to savoury – served in a bowl.
