Dr. Theodor Ackbarow

Dr. Theodor Ackbarow is a thought leader in AI for foodservice, with deep expertise in the opportunities AI creates for restaurants and a passion for sharing his insights. He began working in restaurants during high school and, after completing a PhD in engineering, went on to build the German restaurant group Gustoso. In 2017, Dr. Ackbarow founded Nesto, an AI-driven platform for labour deployment at scale for hospitality chains. Today, he is also an active business angel, investing in restaurant tech and robotics startups.
