Dr. Theodor Ackbarow

Dr. Theodor Ackbarow is a thought leader in AI for foodservice, with deep expertise in the opportunities AI creates for restaurants – and a passion for sharing his insights. He began working in restaurants as a student and, after a successful mechanical engineering degree, launched the German restaurant group Gustoso as well as the tech venture Sushi.wrap in 2010. In 2017, Dr. Ackbarow founded Nesto, whose AI-driven platform predicts revenues and optimizes staffing for restaurants. Today, he is also an active business angel, investing in restaurant tech startups.
