Sozialp\u00e4dagoge, engagiert sich seit vielen Jahren f\u00fcr eine zukunftsf\u00e4hige Altenhilfe. Nach Stationen in der Jugend- und Eingliederungshilfe sowie der Leitung von Senioreneinrichtungen leitet er seit 2019 die Berliner Gesch\u00e4ftsstelle des Verbandes katholischer Altenhilfe in Deutschland e.V. (VKAD). Der VKAD vertritt rund 500 Tr\u00e4ger der Langzeitpflege mit \u00fcber 2.200 Einrichtungen und 100.000 Mitarbeitenden unter dem Dach des Deutschen Caritasverbandes. Mit seiner Arbeit setzt sich Wedeking daf\u00fcr ein, die katholische Altenhilfe in gesellschaftliche und pflegepolitische Debatten einzubringen und die Rahmenbedingungen f\u00fcr gute Pflege
