Nach einigen Jahren in der Rohstoffindustrie war er Bereichsleiter bei Schafft\/Unilever Fleischwerke. Anschlie\u00dfend war er als Werksleiter bei Kaufland Fleischwaren und danach mehrere Jahre als Doppelgesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer der Firmen Landhof und Loidl in \u00d6sterreich t\u00e4tig.
