Qualit\u00e4tsfleisch in vierter Generation. Mit einer w\u00f6chentlichen Schlachtleistung von etwa 15.000 Schweinen, einer eigenen Zerlegung und einem Team von \u00fcber 350 festangestellten Mitarbeitenden ist der Betrieb ein etablierter Mittelst\u00e4ndler. Dabei hat sich das Unternehmen bewusst auf Qualit\u00e4t und individuelle Fleischprogramme spezialisiert und ist Vorreiter in nachhaltiger und transparenter Fleischproduktion.<br \/>\nNicht nur als gelernter Maschinenbau-Ingenieur, auch als IT-affiner Mensch, ist Niko Brand begeistert von den spannenden M\u00f6glichkeiten, die der Einsatz von K\u00fcnstlicher Intelligenz bietet. Immer auf der Suche nach Prozessoptimierungen, hat er sich fr\u00fchzeitig mit seinem Partner f\u00fcr Digitalisierung, der Firma SLA, mit den Potenzialen der Technologie f\u00fcr den laufenden Schlachtbetrieb auseinandergesetzt. Das h\u00f6chste Ziel, das Wohl der anvertrauten Tiere zu steigern, sowie die Qualit\u00e4t der Fleischprodukte durch die Entlastung seiner Mitarbeitenden zu verbessern, lassen sich durch KI-gesteuerte Prozesse unterst\u00fctzen.<br \/>\nDurch die Anwendung von KI-gelenkten Kameras lassen sich beispielsweise Verletzungen an K\u00f6rperteilen feststellen, die wiederum R\u00fcckschl\u00fcsse auf die Haltung der Schweine und somit das Tierwohl zulassen; automatisierte Klassifizierungs-Prozesse helfen den Mitarbeitenden bei der Ermittlung der Fleischqualit\u00e4t; die Erstellung vorausschauender Prognosen steigert die Effizienz der Produktionsplanung.
